Builds relationships with patients, families, clinicians, and community partners to raise awareness of HUWE1-related disorders and expand the Foundation's network. Helps welcome new families, shares educational resources, and encourages participation in research studies, the patient registry, and community events. Strengthens the collaborative community that drives the Foundation's mission forward.

Estimated Time Commitment: 2–5 hours per month, with occasional additional time for events.

Supports fundraising initiatives that provide the resources needed to advance HUWE1 research, build the patient community, and accelerate scientific discovery. Collaborates with board members and volunteers to identify fundraising opportunities, engage donors, and support campaigns and events. Helps ensure the Foundation has the financial resources to achieve its mission.

Estimated Time Commitment: 2–5 hours per month, with additional time around fundraising events

Provides the patient and family perspective to help ensure the Foundation's programs, educational resources, and research priorities reflect the needs of the HUWE1 community. Offers feedback on initiatives and helps identify opportunities to improve support, engagement, and participation. Ensures the voices of those living with HUWE1-related disorders remain central to the Foundation's work.

Estimated Time Commitment: 1–3 hours per month.

Researches grant opportunities that can support HUWE1 research, patient programs, and organizational growth. Tracks funding opportunities, eligibility requirements, and deadlines, and shares findings with the leadership team. Plays an important role in helping secure resources that advance scientific discovery and improve outcomes for individuals with HUWE1-related disorders.
